Registration and Deadlines

We encourage Ph. D. students, post-docs, young and senior scientists to participate and to present their
actual research as a poster or short oral contribution. For the guest speakers/ participants the conference
fee can be covered by the Heraeus foundation. For all other participants the conference fee is 150 EUR.

Scientists interested in attending the seminar are asked to apply as soon as possible. The number of
participants is strictly limited. Note that the number of attendees from one research group should be four
at maximum. For your application, please use the form below.

Participants are encouraged to present talks or posters according to the seminar topics. Due to the limited
time, only a limited number of contributions will be selected for oral presentations. Confirmation of
participation will be sent out shortly after the application deadline.

Deadline of application: December 01, 2006

Due to limited places, applications after the deadline cannot be considered, however there will be a waiting
list.

The Interdisciplinary Graduate and Research Academy Düsseldorf (iGRAD) is your portal to structured PhD education at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf in Germany. iGRAD will offer several services and advice all around the PhD study at our faculty for, PhD- Students, PhD-Supervisors and coordinated PhD Programs. *** PhD students who are not members of structured PhD programs can become iGRAD members together with their supervisors and can benefit from iGRAD-services. *** To coordinated PhD programs (like graduate schools, research training groups and collaborative research networks) iGRAD offers the benefits of an umbrella institution, supporting its member institutions with centralized organization structures, and support in fulfilling modern standards of structured PhD education. *** Please follow the link for further information and a list of workshops.
